Existing on the sadder side of Christmas songs ‘The Magic is Gone’ conveys the for many relatable feeling of perhaps feeling lonelier than ever in this time?

My brother is in the military, so that inspired my idea of writing from the point of view as someone that doesn’t have a loved one around during a special time of the year. I hope listeners can feel like they are not alone and that many people can relate to this type of circumstance.

You turned the hourglass this year for a new chapter in your music, but you released your first single only ten years old, how was it navigating the journey of having a career at such a young age?

It was not difficult because it was my dream. I always knew this is what I wanted to do and I still continue to take all of the steps necessary, to get to where I want to be. It was absolutely always a no brainer for me and I feel so grateful that I have known my passion for as long as I can remember.

What do you need to keep the magic, for your creative side to thrive in the best way possible?

I need to keep listening to other artists, to other art, and I stay inspired by surrounding myself with friends and family.

This Christmas–song is not the only gift you’ve presenting us with this year, as you have lead the way with new songs from your upcoming EP, ‘If We’re Being Honest’, what is it you have been exploring?

These songs were really cool to write, they were all written in frustration, but I have learned how to turn negative experiences into good songs...

While a bit thematically-relevant to the EP, is ‘The Magic is Gone’ part of it. Or are we on a bit of a holiday break, until the story of the EP continues on again?

'The Magic is Gone' will not be part of this EP.

Will you be doing more Christmas songs?

Not this year, but next year I am sure that there will be some more holiday-songs coming from me.

What are your favourite Christmas-song, that put the star on top of the tree?

I love 'Last Christmas' by Wham! Always.
