What picture do you think, or hope, that you’ve been able to paint with the collected vibrations and energies put into these songs on 'Bringing Up Your High'?

It's a picture that has themes of a road where people may try and bring you down but you remember your potential and your light, and that you are being lifted up to the sky with music and that nothing will stop you from this.

Some of these songs on the album goes back a bit?

I have wanted to create a cohesive album for a long time but finding my producer Evan, really allowed all my songs to have a flow to them, he’s amazing and he would take my songs I wrote on guitar or piano and create a beat to them on the fly in the studio, working with him was a dream. This album is a representation of me as a songwriter, with a feel good vibe and production that is the highest you can get.

How early on were you singing and writing songs?

I was always singing as a little girl in school and church choirs but I never started writing until much later in life around twenty-one years old. I learned guitar at that age and then piano later. I have always felt slightly different and music was my outlet. It was what made me feel the most connected.

Is there anything you have learnt to prioritize to not have your own high brought down. So you can keep pushing yourself, and find any obstacles inspiring rather than energy-draining?

Yes, so I wrote this album because I’ve felt that people I trusted were not actually supportive of my music and negative thoughts would come up, which was why I wrote the song 'Bring Down My High'. But music was there for me, and the vibrations and frequency I am putting out is super-healing, and not only to me. My purpose is inspiring confidence and self-love in women. I just hope it inspires all types of music lovers in the best way possible.

What is a song that has done that for you?

A song like that to me would be 'Don’t Know Why' by Norah Jones.

What do you think makes a song timeless?

Timeless songs, I think they capture powerful emotions, and have catchy melodies that keep you hooked.

Also a certified sommelier, what wines would you pair with the eight sparkling-songs on your album?

I would pair 'Southwest' with a light beer or seltzer actually because it’s about driving and on the road that just makes sense. 'Bring Down My High' would definitely be with a champagne like Taittinger or Mumm because it is a celebratory wine now that the negativity is out of your life. I would pair 'Option' with a flight of Italian-wines from a Prosecco to a Chianti to a Barolo. Because sometimes options are more fun.
