What is this new song about?

‘Baddie Con Un Cuore’ translates to “a baddie with a heart,” and it’s about embracing strength, independence, and vulnerability all at once. A "baddie" is someone confident and bold, someone who stands on their own, while the "cuore", the heart, represents being open to love, compassion, and emotional depth. For me, this song is a reminder that you can be independent while still letting love and connection into your life. It reflects the balance I’ve tried to find in my own life, and I hope it resonates with anyone who’s felt that same tension between strength and softness.

Your artistry has had a way of becoming international but this song feels like a major love letter to your Italian roots?

This song truly is a love letter to my Italian roots. The chorus carries this playful melodic energy that feels so Italian to me, it’s passionate and expressive, just like the culture I grew up in. Filming the music video was magical. We shot it at the stunning Castello di Torre Alfina, a breathtaking location in Italy that perfectly captured the elegance and drama of the song. The castle itself felt like stepping into a fairytale, and its timeless beauty became the perfect backdrop for a song that celebrates both modern confidence and traditional charm. Every scene we shot felt like a celebration of my heritage, and I hope that comes across when people watch it.

Are there any Italian artists who've been really inspiring to you?

Definitely! Laura Pausini has been a huge inspiration. She has this incredible way of telling stories that connect with people all over the world, and she’s shown how powerful Italian music can be on a global stage. Recently, I’ve also been inspired by modern Italian artists like Irama and Elodie. Irama’s storytelling and ability to mix contemporary sounds with emotional depth really resonate with me, while Elodie’s versatility and boldness in both her music and style are so inspiring. They’re proof that Italian music continues to evolve and stay relevant on an international level.

How have you found occasionally writing music here in Sweden?

Sweden has always been such an inspiring place to work. The songwriting culture there is unmatched, there is something about the way Swedish writers and producers approach music that feels so innovative and melodic. Every session I’ve had in Sweden has brought something fresh and exciting to my artistry.

Have you gotten to visit us in sunnier weather, or the colder side?

As for the weather, let’s just say I haven’t been lucky enough to visit during the winter side yet!

You were on stage at a young age?

My journey with music started as early as I can remember. I was around six years old when I first stood on a stage, and even then, I knew I wanted to spend my life singing. It wasn’t just about the performance, it was about the connection, the way music made me feel alive. Over the years, that dream grew, and now, seeing it become reality is beyond anything I could have imagined.

How will you you celebrate the release of ‘Baddie Con Un Cuore’?

I am throwing a release party in Los Angeles to celebrate with close friends, people I admire from the music industry, and my amazing collaborators. The party will include Julian Feifel, the song’s multi-platinum producer, as well as the other co-songwriters. The music video choreographer Daniel Collins will join us from Italy. It’s going to be a special night where we can all come together to celebrate this milestone. I’ve learned how important it is to take a moment to appreciate what you’ve created, and this release deserves to be recognized as a big step in my journey.

Is this the start of an exciting year?

Absolutely! 'Baddie Con Un Cuore' is just the beginning. I have so much planned for this year, new singles, exciting collaborations, and live performances that I can’t wait to share. I’m also exploring more ways to connect with my fans, not just through my music but through content that shows more of who I am behind the scenes. This is going to be a year full of growth, creativity, and surprises.
