You have been talking about this EP for quite some time?

It's been a rollercoaster ride working on this EP. Reflecting on the journey, it's been filled with countless hours in the studio, experimenting with different sounds, and pouring my heart into every track, the EP has been in the works for more than a year and it has been a process of growth, learning, and refining my sound but each step has brought me closer to the vision I had when I first started.

Outside of being four absolute pop bangers, what is it that holds the songs together?

‘I hope you’re having fun’ is more than just a collection of pop songs. The common thread throughout the EP is the exploration of personal and emotional connections in the digital-age. The songs delve into themes of love, loss, and the quest for genuine human interaction in a world that is increasingly virtual. Each track tells a part of that story, creating a mosaic of modern relationships.

Your song 'Distant' explores how social media makes us more aloof, even ending relationships with an unfollow. As an artist social media connects you with fans. But it’s still a kind of long-distance relationship you have with your fans?

As an artist social media is crucial for connecting with fans but it can indeed feel distant, to bridge this gap, I try to engage in more personal interactions, like, behind-the-scenes content, and small, intimate performances. It’s about creating moments where fans can feel a personal connection beyond the screen.

What was your experience moving from Italy to London and finding your footing in the music scene there?

Moving from Italy to London was both exhilarating and challenging. The music scene in London is vibrant and diverse, offering immense opportunities for growth and exposure. Finding my feet in such a competitive environment meant constantly pushing myself and staying true to my unique sound. It is all about networking, performing at various venues, and gradually building a presence. The experience so far has been incredibly enriching, both personally and professionally.

How early on was music already a passion of yours?

Music has always been a part of my life. From a young age, I was surrounded by a creative environment, my family appreciated various forms of art, which nurtured my love for music. I knew early on that music was my calling. It wasn’t just a hobby but a passion that I wanted to pursue seriously.

What meaning, and power, is it music holds for you?

Music is my sanctuary. It’s a way for me to process and make sense of the world around me. Through songwriting, I can express emotions and thoughts that are sometimes hard to articulate in everyday conversations. It holds immense power for me personally, it is therapeutic and empowering. Music allows me to connect with others on a deep emotional level and creating a shared experience that’s both comforting and uplifting.

What does it feel like to finally be able to share the EP?

Finally sharing this EP feels incredible. There’s a mix of excitement and vulnerability when releasing new music. These songs have been a part of my journey, and letting go of them to share with the world is both thrilling and nerve-wracking. It's like sending a piece of myself out into the world, hoping that others will connect with it and find their own meaning in the music. The anticipation and feedback from listeners make all the hard work worthwhile.
